Dear Thearthur,

Greetings from your local yarn store!

Good news - the May class schedule is enclosed.   New this month are the Friday Afternoon Children's classes.  Every Friday in May at 4:00pm,  we will have a one hour workshop for kids ages 8 to 12.    We are having children teach one another how to Finger Knit, instructors who will teach knitting and crocheting, and, our own Cliff will teach the kids how to make jewelry.  Sign your little ones up for these special workshops - space is limited!

We are pleased to offer another Felting Project class with Oakland's own felting expert, Maggie Pace.  This month we're making the Deco clutch on May 22.   Details in the class schedule below.

Just in time for Mother's Day, we are having a special jewelry show this Sunday at 1, featuring the work of artist Keren Barukh.  For those of you who have admired the jewelry I wear, you already know Keren's pieces are wonderful.  I am confident you will find something that suits your taste.  Visit Keren's website for a sneak preview.  This event is free, but reservations are required.

Spread the word, sign up for classes and support The Knitting Basket.  We appreciate you.

Sincerely,
