Premier Artist Membership
Deadline: Friday, May 9th, Midnight
Sign Up Online:
- Visit http://www.artspan.org/reg08/reg_payment.php
- The first step is to make payment via either
credit card or PayPal.
- You will receive an e-mail with your password. Receiving
a password can take up to 8 hours. If you do not receive a password
within 24 hours, please contact info@artspan.org.
- Visit http://www.artspan.org/reg08/reg_login.php and log in using your last name and your new password.
- Fill out the registration forms completely:
Personal Data and SF Open Studios Data, including publishable
information and artwork details.
- Upload a TIFF image of your artwork to be
included in the PRINTED Guide (300 dpi, CMYK format, 2.5 inches on
the longest side, about 3 MB).
- Upload a JPEG image of the same artwork to be
included in the ONLINE Guide (72 dpi, RGB format, about 1 MB).
- Include an artist statement.
The online registration site
will shut down on Friday, May 9th at Midnight. ALL materials, including
payment, fully completed forms, and images are due by May 9th.
The SF Open Studios 2008 Online Guide will go live in mid-September.
Until then, the 2007 version will be accessible here.

Artists are also welcome to stop by the ArtSpan office, 934 Brannan
Street, 2nd Floor, between 8th and 9th streets, to fill out a paper form
(Monday-Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm); however use of the online form is
encouraged.

- Studio information and one color image in the Printed Guide (Bay Area Distribution: 35,000 copies / Full color magazine).

SF Open Studios Artist Eligibility: SF Open Studios is a subsidized program for
individual artists living and/or practicing in San Francisco. Each artist
sells original artwork, made by him/herself. Each artist must join and
pay separately.
